THE JURORS: LOCAL TALENT SCOUTS + SCENE MAKERS
Once a year this ten year old independent publication gathers together la crème de la crème of the local music industry in each scene, and asks them to choose their favorite Emerging Local Artists.
A carefully crafted and handpicked process, The Deli's Year End Polls involve a jury comprised of local music industry professionals who deal with up and coming bands on a daily basis, including: venue booking agents (for NYC, Bowery Presents, Pianos, Cake Shop, Webster Hall, and The Knitting Factory among others), music bloggers (like Impose, OhMyRockness, The Wild Honey Pie), music journalists, radio personnel, record store staff, and other relevant "scene makers" in each music scene.
