New Instupendo EP Available for Streaming & Purchase

Aidan Peterson, a.k.a. Instupendo, recently released his debut EP Friend of a Friend. In a time of omnipresent chaos and turmoil, the album offers a beautifully delicate, dream portal. Cleansing waves of keys, brightened by sincere vocals activate a soothing sonic setting. With a deft hand/ear, elements combine, maintaining the light, breezy nature of the temporary escape.

New Track: "Comfort Chain" - Instupendo

Instupendo, a.k.a. Aidan Peterson, carries a tune that feels well-handled but open at the seams, displaying a fine attention to detail that produces a roving vignette over a shifting sonic landscape. He recently shared "Comfort Chain," a track that offers a moment to pause and reflect in a way that feels soothing rather than drowsy. Peterson is working on an EP that’s set to release this spring, but in the meantime, you can catch him tomorrow night at Kung Fu Necktie, where he’ll be performing with Bucolic, Dizzyride, and Lokomoko.

Instupendo Striking a Chord at PhilaMOCA Dec. 10

The work of Philadelphian sound artist Instupendo, a.k.a. Aidan Peterson, is lucid while out of focus; a silken and ethereal logic operating somewhere in the space between trap and ambient. His presence is mostly known online, striking a chord with the engaged Internet-selves that exist in a space between our inner and outer worlds. His music arrives at a distinct time in our culture in which a bedroom producer’s output has the capability of being accessible to the world, allowing Peterson to successfully tap into a vast network of potential creative futures before graduating high school. You can catch a rare Instupendo set this weekend when he performs at PhilaMOCA with emerging electronic producers Buji, Good Intent, and Haven. PhilaMOCA, 531 N. 12st Street, 8pm, $7-$10, All Ages - Josh Kelly

You can get lost in the soundscapes of Instupendo at PhilaMOCA on Saturday, December 10, where he'll be joined on a bill that will also include Buji, Good Intent, and Haven.
