Jeremiah Tall

New Track: "Graves" - Jeremiah Tall

Singer-songwriter Jeremiah Tall recently shared “Graves,” the lead single from his forthcoming album Bare Bones, which is scheduled to arrive on October 11. A grim sonic swirl sets the tone. Unearthing a lively folk-blues stomp, the prediction of a zombie apocalypse is heeded. The end is near, and you've been warned. Hopefully it won't come before Tall's performance at Philly Music Fest on Saturday, September 27 at World Cafe Live.

The Lawsuits Continue Their Endearing Journey at Boot & Saddle Sept. 23

Earnest, soulful emotion threads the quilted sonic fabric of The Lawsuits. Rolling into Boot & Saddle this evening, the band serves up their custom blend of Americana - parts folk-narrative, daydream inducing pop-rock, anchored by reinforcing vocal harmonies, sleekly slipping into grooves, and spiked by a blues echoing get down. With their latest album, Moon Son, available via Randm Records, the crew continues its endearing journey. Tonight, they’ll be joined by the momentous, folk-accented rock of New England’s Nemes and the earth-shaking folk-stomp of labelmate Jeremiah Tall. Boot & Saddle, 1131 S. Broad St., 8pm, $12, 21+ - Michael Colavita

Daytrotter Session - Jeremiah Tall

The tales of Jeremiah Tall continue on with his recent Daytrotter session. The Bucks County folk troubadour paid a visit to the Horseshack in Davenport, IA to record songs from his debut ("Penn's Woods") and sophomore ("I Got A Name," Hardworking Man") albums as well as the previously unreleased "Wanted". The entire performance is available for streaming and download (w/membership) HERE.

New Track: "Time" - Jeremiah Tall

Here is a new single from bushy-haired, folk troubadour Jeremiah Tall called "Time." The song is meant to reflect "the change of seasons and mood as we, here in the Northeast, know all to well." Enjoy!

Weekend Warrior, June 27 - 29

Former Belle headlines a stacked deck of a lineup this evening at Bourbon & Branch, celebrating their newly released EP Old Ghost. The collection of B-sides wets the appetite for their upcoming full-length release while also providing a taste of fresh songs. These tracks have an endearing intimacy and a fearless sense of expression, revealing a haunting honesty that resonates song after song. DJ Brown-led Our Griffins is another fine example, combining songwriting with his calm yet powerful vocal timbre and a consistent pulsing instrumentation that has a way of creeping into your head and taking residence. Another pair of intriguing folk-oriented risers, who have both been Deli Philly Featured Artist Poll winners in Maitland and Jeremiah Tall, square up a bill which spills over with an abundance of local talent. Bourbon & Branch, 705 N. 2nd St., 8pm, $10, 21+ - Michael Colavita
