The Orwells have released the closing track, “Double Feature”, from their forthcoming LP, Terrible Human Beings. The album will be released on February 17th via Canvasback Music.

The Orwells released a new single today called "Buddy". This is a the first track released of their, yet to be named, forthcoming album.

The Orwells recently recorded a live session and interview with the local record store Treehouse. They also released a great video on Halloween for their track "Norman".

Disgraceland, the new album from The Orwells is out today via Canvasback. Despite the strange nature of their first performance on Letterman, the band will be returning to The Late Show stage on June 10th.

You can catch The Orwells on June 16th for a free in-store at Reckless Records and at Schubas for a free private show on June 19th. The band will also recording a JBTV performance on June 17th.

There are a lot of cool events taking place in Chicago this Halloween, but after seeing The Orwells cover The Stooges classic "I Wanna Be Your Dog" their show at Subt on Oct. 31st has jumped to the top of my list.
