New Radiator Hospital LP Available for Streaming

As today's slight chill reminds us of the colder days just around the corner, we have the words of Sam Cook-Parrott to keep us warm, fuzzy and nostalgic. Radiator Hospital's new full-length album, Play The Songs You Like, is now available for streaming. The LP consists of fifteen new tracks and a cover of Martha's "Sycamore," and will be released officially on October 20 via Salinas Records. Radiator Hospital is heading out on tour later this week with Outer Spaces in support of the album, and you can catch them in Philly this Friday at the First Unitarian Church, alongside Strawberry Runners and Eight as well. New Music Video: "Dance Number" - Radiator Hospital

We’re very excited to share with you a new track and video from one of our favorite local acts Radiator Hospital. Led by the heartfelt, beautiful words of songwriter Sam Cook-Parrott, “Dance Number” is a “meta-commentary about the way we use music to help us cope, even when everything seems to be falling completely apart.” Cook-Parrott also says, “On the surface it’s a portrait of a sad lonely moment. Ultimately though it's about trying to go through life with an open heart and mind in a world that seems bleaker every day." The song is the first single off the band’s forthcoming full-length Play The Songs You Like, which was recorded by Jeff Zeigler (of Uniform Recording) and is due out on October 20 via Salinas Records. You can catch Radiator Hospital live on Monday, August 28 at PhilaMOCA with Lost Balloons. (Photo by Catherine Elicson)

New Inauguration Day Protest Compilation to Benefit the ACLU

"This compilation is an expression of love, anger, hope and protest on inauguration day. Let it serve as a reminder that the fight for justice is not over, that the celebration of diversity is essential to progress, that we must work together for what is fair and good. Can’t stop. Won’t Stop. Don’t stop now."

Featuring a plethora of Philly's favorite indie musicians like Radiator Hospital, Abi Reimold, Jon Loudon (Restorations), Marisa Dabice (Mannequin Pussy), Pat Conaboy (The Spirit of the Beehive), August Koch (Cayetana), and so many more covering iconic artists (Neil Young, John Lennon, David Bowie, New Order, etc.), the thirty-eight song compilation, Don't Stop Now: a collection of covers, will hopefully bring you some type of solace as well as inspiration today, as we prepare for the ginormous battle that lies ahead of us. But have no fear - we'll all be here for each other. FUCK COMRADE TRUMP! All proceeds from this compilation will benefit the ACLU.

Debut The Afterglows LP Available for Streaming & Purchase

The Afterglows, the musical union of Sam Cook-Parrott (Radiator Hospital) and Michael Cantor (The Goodbye Party), recently shared their self-titled debut full-length album. The home-recordings capture the innate ability of the duo to turn heartache into melody, with Cook-Parrott's acoustic strums and Cantor's layered electric tones as backdrops. It's an intimate look into the late-night, open, honest dialogue between the two housemates. You can stream and download the album below, which is also available on vinyl via Salinas Records.
