New Young Statues EP Available for Streaming & Purchase

Young Statues recently released a new EP Amarillo via Run For Cover. Composed, calculated musicality casually covers emotive ground. Building relaxing, exuberant waves, it gently guides one’s thoughts with a purpose. This latest batch of tracks holds the listener without lamenting in stagnation.

Weekend Warrior, April 3 - 5

The guys of Restorations spent the end of February and all of April crazily touring the U.S. and Canada. Well, they are happy to home and ready to rock this evening at Johnny Brenda’s, one of the band’s favorite venues in Philly. Take advantage of this night because before you know it, they’ll be heading out in May on another cross-country tour with The Early November and Lydia before a trip across the pond this summer. Restorations will be joined on tonight’s bill by Run For Cover Records’ Young Statue and Americana/folk duo Broken Spirit. Johnny Brenda’s, 1201 N. Frankford Ave., 9pm, $15, 21+ - Alexis V.

Weekend Warrior, January 9 - 11

With Carmen Cirignano's hauntingly vibrant vocals, soaring guitar riffs, and moody synths, Young Statues has a harmonious strength that the band has evolved since the early days when Cirignano started the project. You can hear it on their latest LP The Flatlands Are Your Friends (Run For Cover Records). The group just kicked off its 2015 with an U.S. Tour alongside New Brunswick, New Jersey's Gates and Chicago's The City on Film. And they'll be rolling into Johnny Brenda's tonight to play for the home crowd. Johnny Brenda's, 1201 N. Frankford Ave., 9pm, $12, 21+ - Bill McThrill
