New False Tracks Album Available for Streaming & Purchase

The quartet of False Tracks recently released a new album, Either World, which was recorded by Uniform Recording's Jeff Ziegler. A spacious, new-wave jangle melds with persistent backend and bass-thumping rhythms, creating an urgent, adventurous dynamic. The ability to push the pace, exuding a timely grit while remaining instrumentally locked-in, produces a memorable collection of tracks. The band also has a new video to accompany album opener "Psyops". ("Fans of the Amazing Kreskin, Smell-o-vision, and Horrors of the Black Museum, indulge yourselves.")

SNST "Heart Will Fail You"

SNST is back with a new single, their first in two years, called “Heart Will Fail You”. The track is taken from the duo’s forthcoming album, It’s Hard To Be Loved By You, which is set for release in Spring of 2020.

SNST is the side project of Chris Broach of Braid and The Firebird Band and on this new album he is joined by his wife, Sonja Broach, on vocals and lyrics.

Step Children release single on World Suicide Prevention Day

In honor of World Suicide Prevention Day (September 10), Step Children released their latest single, “Hot-Wired Cars.” Band member Derek Shaw says the song is “…full of memories, regret and hope…people who are hurting that badly so their best to hide what’s really happening.” The song is a tribute to several friends who have recently taken their own lives. Sonically, the song has a touch of Elton John, some twang and pop. We’re always down for a tune that helps raise awareness and reminds us to love each other and listen to each other. - Lucille Faulkner

New Track: "Problem With The World" - The Retinas

Garage-rock power trio The Retinas has a new full-length self-titled album coming out on October 25 via Medical Records. The LP's lead single, "Problem With The World," is an oldie but a goodie from the bands catalogue, with new arrangements and lyrics. It's an anthem for the misunderstood. You're not alone. Enjoy!

On "Paralyze the Dead," Stereo Match celebrate individuality

On "Paralyze the Dead," Stereo Match push themselves to follow their instincts. Following their dance-oriented debut single, "Worship You," the indie-pop quartet retain their groove, albeit, with a funkier and bouncier pop sheen. With Young the Giant's Eric Cannata on production duties, the band inspires others to overcome their fears and to put your true self out there. It's a timeless message that—matched with their joyous spirit and slick hooks—always goes down easy.

"Paralyze the Dead" is featured of Stereo Match's forthcoming LP, HUMAN, due out later this year. - Juan Rodríguez
