Jean Deaux "Heavy"

Jean Deaux has released a new EP called "Heavy". The EP's lead single and opening track is called "JD's Revenge" and is accompanied by the video below.

The EP features production work from Saba, Juju the Fool, Prodxvzn, Sy & Nico, and Turbo. The second single from the EP is called "Zodiac Killer" and features contributions from Niko the Great and Jesus Ramos.


Kara Jackson "Why Does The Earth Give Us People To Love?"

Vocalist, Poet, musician Kara Jackson has released her debut album, Why Does The Earth Give Us People To Love?. For this project she enlisted the help of some of the most talented artists in the city including Kaina Castillo, Nnamdï, Sen Morimoto, Nick Levine, Macie Stewart, Forrest Jackson, and Elsz.

The latest single from the album is called "Lilly" and is accompanied by the video below.

DRAMA "Tighten It Up"

The R&B duo of Via Rosa and Na'el Shehade (aka DRAMA) are back with a new single and video called "Tighten It Up".

This is the first new music from DRAMA since their 2022 EP "Don't Wait Up".

The duo are currently touring the West Coast and will be performing close to home when they take the stage at Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI on June 30th.


McKinley Dixon "Run, Run, Run"

McKinley Dixon has released the first single, "Run, Run, Run", from his forthcoming album, Beloved! Paradise! Jazz!?, which is due out June 2nd via City Slang.


Dreamer Isioma "Technicolor Love"

Dreamer Isioma has released a new single and video called "Technicolor Love". This new single feature a contribution an up and coming rapper from Maryland named redveil who will be headlining a tour this Spring with Chicago's very own femdot.

Dreamer Isioma will also be touring the country this Spring and arriving back home to perform at Reggie's on June 8th.
