Pink Acid Wash - Psych/Noise Rock CMW Set 05.10 at Monarch Tavern

Toronto psych band Pink Acid Wash has released a new single “Grinning”. This noise rock track has a lot going on including a deep drawling vocal over top of a thumping drum beat and dirty bassline. The droning guitar will make your head spin which makes the vocals speak directly to your brain. Pink Acid Wash play a CMW Set on Friday May 10th @ The Monarch Tavern with Brenda, World News and Red Mass. – Kris Gies

Molly Parden performs at The Basement 05.20

Molly Parden shows up at the top of The Deli's Nashville charts quite a bit, so we thought we should share that she'll play at The Basement on May 20th. Parden has bounced around the Northeast and Midwest over the past month; her Spring tour around the States will take her to the Northwest and Southeast before she returns home to Nashville. At her Basement show, fellow artists and friends Madi Diaz and Zoe Sky Jordan will join Parden on the bill. Catch this show and you may also hear some new tracks. Take a listen to Parden's latest release, 2018's "Bolting Volts", below. - Will Sisskind

Single Premiere: SM6 "Too Young"

We are proud to be able to premiere the latest single, “Too Young”, from the brother and sister group SM6. This is the Pop group’s first single since the release of their 2018 album, On Our Way.

“Too Young” is a joyful piano pop anthem about the strength, knowledge, and spirit of youth, and their ability to stand up and make a difference despite being told they are too young.

You can catch SM6 at Odeum Expo Center in Villa Park on May 18th as part of the Chicago Drum Show. They will also be touring this summer as part of the Boys of Summer tour.

New DistantStarr Album Available for Streaming & Download

Meshing a grimy aesthetic with wisdom refined by maturation, DistantStarr creatively captivates on Fine. Delivering thematic storytelling against classic jazz-R&B grooves with experimental ends, the songs occupy a cruising but crucial space. Press play, and allow the poise of the music to take over. DistantStarr is slated to perform as part of the Duality: First Friday music and art show on Friday, June 7 at Philly Art Collective.
